GeeXboX
GeeXboX is a Linux distribution designed to provide a dedicated media-center system for PCs. It can turn a computer into a full-featured home theater PC (HTPC) and runs entirely from a LiveCD or LiveUSB, requiring no hard drive installation.
Starting with version 2.0, GeeXboX integrated the popular XBMC software (later renamed Kodi) for media playback, giving users access to a powerful and flexible interface for watching videos, listening to music, viewing photos, and streaming content. Version 3.1 was published in November 2013.
