SimpleLinux
SimpleLinux is a small, Slackware‑based Linux distribution originally developed by a group of Malaysian developers starting in 2007. It was designed to be easy to use and flexible, offering multiple editions:
- Community Edition - desktop OS for daily usage
- Extended Edition - extended version of community edition with more software
- Mini Edition - lightweight version for older PCs
- Server Edition - for server usage
The system used Slackware’s package tools and optionally offered LZMA‑compressed modules and the slackpkg package manager for installing and updating software. The last known version (1.10.10) was released in September 2012.
