gOS
gOS (also known as Good OS) is an easy-to-use Linux distribution based on Ubuntu, created by Good OS LLC. The main goal of gOS was to integrate Web 2.0 applications directly into the operating system, providing a cloud‑centric desktop experience. It successfully incorporated Google Apps and other web applications, allowing users to access email, social tools, and online services seamlessly alongside basic local applications.
The system featured a visually appealing interface with a dock-style launcher and Google Gadgets, making it intuitive for new users while keeping everyday tasks simple. The last known release, version 3.1, was published in January 2009
