Chromium OS Vanilla
Chromium OS Vanilla is a community build of ChromiumOS, the open‑source upstream project for Google’s Chrome OS. Unlike many Chrome‑OS‑style projects that add extra drivers or modifications, the Vanilla build aimed to provide a straightforward, unmodified version of Chromium OS that could boot from a USB drive or virtual machine, giving users a pure browser‑centric Linux experience focused on web apps and browsing. Chromium OS Vanilla was created by Liam McLoughlin (also known as Hexxeh) and the last version (build 4028) was released in April 2013.
